Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: October 2026. Governs the licensing, local installation, workstation execution, and intellectual property custody of SIFRA.
1. Workstation Software License Grant
Subject to these Terms and an active subscription, SIFRA Intelligence grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and execute the SIFRA desktop application on your authorized personal computer workstation seats.
Unlike cloud SaaS services, SIFRA executes locally on your physical processor and graphics hardware. The software binaries and local database runtimes reside strictly within your personal storage directories.
2. Intellectual Property Ownership of Generated Outputs
You retain 100% exclusive ownership of all text, code, document audits, mathematical derivations, summaries, embeddings, and creative works produced by SIFRA on your hardware.
SIFRA Intelligence asserts zero copyright, zero ownership claims, zero royalty rights, and zero license encumbrances over any content generated through the software. Because inference is executed entirely on your personal machine without cloud ingestion, your data and outputs remain your sole intellectual property.
3. Local Execution Custody & Operational Sovereignty
You maintain sole physical and logical custody of the software binary, your local SQLite databases (`/data/`), personal vector RAG indexes, and custom persona settings.
SIFRA does not enforce remote filtering, automated content sniffing, or ideological censorship on your local computational processes. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your utilization of the software complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
4. Hardware-Bound Machine Seats & Entitlements
Workstation licenses are authenticated via a privacy-preserving cryptographic hardware identifier (HWID) bound to your host workstation. This entitlement verification validates active subscription status without collecting your identity or tracking your operational workflows.
If you upgrade or replace your workstation hardware, you may reassign your active seat through your self-service account dashboard or by contacting engineering support.
5. Disclaimer of Warranty & Limitation of Liability
SIFRA is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted execution.
In no event shall SIFRA Intelligence or its creator, Utkarsh Pandey, be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages—including but not limited to data loss, hardware overheating from extreme sustained loads, loss of profits, or business interruption—arising out of the use or inability to use the workstation software.
6. Modifications and Governing Law
We reserve the right to modify these Terms to reflect architectural improvements or legal developments. Continued use of SIFRA following published revisions constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
